Module 2.1 - Monitoring of work areas

In addition to performing their regular tasks, in-store employees must be constantly vigilant and attentive to what is happening in their workplace. The workshop entitled Assurer la surveillance des aires de travail (Monitoring of work areas) prepares participants, over a day and a half, to make informed decisions in complex situations, based on objective and precise observations.  It is designed to develop qualities that retailers look for in their employees, such as open-mindedness, discernment, self-confidence and powers of observation. In addition, it helps participants to acquire a better appreciation of their own perceptual biases and to correct them if necessary.
