Training workshops – Furniture industry
Proper material handling and health and safety techniques
The training entitled Les bonnes techniques de manutention et de santé et sécurité – Industrie du meuble (Proper material handling and health and safety techniques in the furniture industry) is designed for warehouse material handlers. By illustrating the importance of their work within the retail company, it focuses on helping material handlers integrate fully into the company’s operations while paying particular attention to their own health and safety and that of their colleagues.

Détail Quebec’s training activities are accredited by Emploi-Québec. They are currently offered in French only.
- Attestation:
An attestation of participation will be issued for each training activity completed.
- Registration:
Individual or group registration accepted.
- Duration::
8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Cost:
This training is available in three formats:
- A one-day training session at a location outside your company’s premises, accompanied by our trainer: $175 per person (including snack and lunch)
- A one-day training session on your company’s premises, accompanied by our trainer: $160 per person (minimum 10 persons)
- Purchase of training kits:
- Trainer’s kit: $1,000.
- One set of 10 learners’ kits: $1,500 or $175 each.
- Transportation and handling costs included.
- Free support for your trainer, on request.

10 to 20
