Staff retention and turnover

Staff turnover is a source of concern for many retailers. However, few actually measure the scope of this phenomenon or establish systems to control it.

Détail Québec has published a guide and developed a training course to initiate retailers to the use of various methods for measuring the scope and costs of staff turnover and for identifying the reasons why employees leave their companies. Based on the results obtained, retailers can develop operational objectives with a view to reducing and controlling their staff turnover.
