The Détail Québec team produces and distributes various studies on the socio-economic profiles of the retail sector. In collaboration with the key players in the industry, the team regularly organizes human-resources development activities, such as the Retail Job Fair, as well as information sessions for Quebec retailers, such as the annual consultation. The Détail Québec team also produces reference tools to guide retailers in the management of their human resources.

Through its expertise in the sector, Détail Québec contributes to the identification of occupational standards for the positions of sales associate and first-level supervisor and works diligently to raise the profile of retail careers. In addition, job descriptions for positions in the industry are made available to retailers.

Détail Québec also contributes to the development and promotion of training programs specific to the retail sector and develops training activities tailored to retail employees and managers. From this perspective, trainers' kits are made available to retailers wishing to offer training in their businesses.
