Action plan 2007 - 2008
Strategic orientation 1: Foster the development of
an organizational culture within retail businesses:
- develop and promote human-resources management
tools
- develop and promote continuing education
- develop occupational standards and strategies
for the learning and recognition of skills.
Strategic orientation 2: Promote the sector, retail
occupations and retail careers:
- identify the key players, develop relations and
maintain networking activities with the organizations
involved in the sector
- develop new communication and promotional tools
- increase awareness of the value of training within
the sector.
Strategic orientation 3: Maintain a highly effective,
representative and widely recognized organization:
- ensure the visibility of Détail
Québec's products and services and
explore new distribution methods
- 2. verify and validate sector-specific needs in
accordance with Détail Québec's
mission
